ITINERARY:

⌛  Day 1 / 20.04 – Arrival to International Airport Zvartnots – transfer to hotel – overnight in Yerevan 

Welcome to Armenia… Our guide will meet you in the airport and you will be transferred to the hotel Best Western Plus Congress.

⌛  Day 2 /21.04 – Sightseeing tour in Yerevan - Visiting Garni temple – Geghard Monastery – overnight in Yerevan

After the breakfast start your journey across Armenia with a fascinating sightseeing tour of Yerevan, the heart of Armenia. Yerevan is the capital city of Armenia, a city, which is 29 years older than Rome!  You are going to enjoy interesting stories of the thousand-year history of the capital along with visits of architectural monuments (such as the Opera House, Cascade Complex, National Assembly Building, Republic Square), as well as vintage central streets of the city (such as Abovyan str., Mashtots ave., Baghramyan ave., Northern ave.). And from the height of the special viewpoint the whole city will open up towards you. After the city tour, you will go to explore most unique attractions of Armenia! First up, visit Garni, which is the only standing pagan temple in Armenia. Garni temple, which towers over a triangular cape, is the unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. It is a blend of Greco-Roman and Armenian styles. King Trdat The First ordered building the temple in the first century AD and dedicated it to the God of Sun. After adopting Christianity in 301, the pagan temple lost its significance and the fortress of Garni became the summer residence of the kings. Nowadays the ruins of the royal palace and the bathroom with a stunning mosaic work can be found near the temple.

The next stop is Geghard monastery, being a complex, which is partially carved in a rock. Geghard monastery is the unsurpassable masterpiece of the 13th century Armenian architecture. Some of the churches of the complex are masterfully hewn in a huge rock. From the outset the complex was called Ayrivank (cave monastery), later it was renamed Geghard (lance) as the lance, used by the roman soldier to sting Jesus Christ's side, had been kept in this monastery for many centuries. Due to its construction, Geghardavank serves the best place for singing spiritual songs. The complex is rich in subtle sculptural embellishments and many striking khachkars (cross-stones). The site is included in UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. (B/-/-)  

⌛  Day 3 / 22.04 – Lake Sevan – Sevanavank Monastery – Dilijan – Haghartsin Monastery – overnight in Yerevan

After having breakfast at hotel on this day visit Lake Sevan. The fascination and the "pearl" of mountainous Armenia, which is one of the world's greatest high altitude fresh-water lakes. It is about 1900 m above sea level. The lake is of volcanic origin and is surrounded with mountains of 3000 m and higher. The beautiful landscape and the crystal water serve nice preconditions for excellent rest. The lake is also famous for its peninsula and medieval church complex, built in 874. See Sevanavank, a monastery complex on Sevan peninsula, from where the whole beauty of Lake Sevan can be observed. Currently a religious seminary functions here, which is not readily open to the public. 

You will then go to Dilijan, otherwise referred to as "Armenian Switzerland" for its fantastic natural forests. The town is a part of Dilijan National Park. Dilijan entices people with its unforgettable beauty and mild climate. The city stretches on the banks of Aghstev river, surrounded with mountains and forests. Dilijan has the fame of a health resort. The warm sun, fresh air and natural spas have great healing influence on people. Dilijan is also rich in interesting architectural monuments. Finally, visit Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visiting it. ⭕ In case the selected hotel is unavailable due to an unexpected situation, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in a hotel of a similar category.

⭕ The availability of adjoining rooms/ interconnecting rooms/non-smoking rooms/rooms on the same floor etc. cannot be guaranteed.

⭕ Room type (double or twin) is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the hotel.

⭕ Prices are dynamic and based on offers running at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

⭕ Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 Hours and check-out time is 1100 Hours local time. It may vary based on destinations and availability.

⭕ All tours and transfers by sharing coach on the group, the client should follow the timing on the ground. If any transfer is missed, the agency will not be responsible, and the client will bear the extra cost.

⭕ At the time of check-in to your hotel, the hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (the amount depends upon the hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the room).

⭕ Any ticket to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safari, etc. is not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.

⭕ The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of departure. Client’s responsibility to obtain correct, current, and valid passports and re-entry permits where required. Please reach out to our team if you need any help with this.

⭕ The agency has nothing to do with any last-minute changes in Visa requirements and regulations of the country.

⭕ Customers are fully responsible to carry proper travel documentation (make sure that all travel documents are valid and complete and check the entry requirements for your upcoming trip before you travel).
